Of all the things people said about my run for the presidency, the funniest was that I did it to make money. Get your 15 minutes of fame, build your brand, and voila! Book sales, speaking fees, etc.

The left talks about conflict of interest. Is it conflict of interest to allow congress to participate in insider trading while the rest of us go to prison for it? Is it conflict of interest for the white house to pick winners and losers in business? Is it a conflict of interest to create laws that congress exempts themselves from?
Hillary didn’t give all her profits to charity.
There seems to be great concern about foreign hotel profits and some even consider a foreigner booking a room in his Washington hotel a conflict of interest; however, there has not been any concern about foreign purchases of President Obama’s books during the last 8 years. It is interesting that a pair of unreadable books have continued to contribute so much wealth to a sitting president.
