I’m sure they’re happy about receiving more US taxpayer dollars to be spent in their country instead of ours.

Funny how people tend to like it when the USG showers them with your money.

That is the problem, indeed. That one, single, solitary brigade is nothing more than a speed bump. Hell, I seriously doubt if they even have the support they need in terms of maintenance, engineers, aviation, etc, and are having to rely on the host nation to provide all that.

A true nightmare scenario is possible, only the Obammunist and his dipsh*t (and homosexual, in the case of the SecArmy) advisers don't realize it. Or maybe they do.

The Frogs, yes. The Poles? I think they're a little tougher and more prideful than the Surrender Monkeys. Hopefully they've learned the lessons of WW2 and have done away with horse cavalry except for ceremonial purposes!

Roger on the generals, so long as you include as many senior NCO’s as you can get.

I’m not a person who needed a link to Wikipedia to know who Kosciuzko was.

What’s lacking is a justification for attempting to deliberately provoke a nuclear war.

True. If they are kept here for more than 20 years, that could even balance out our spendings on so called war on terror.

3,500 isn’t going to bring about a nuclear war. I think Trump is savvy enough to avoid that with a partial stand down, reducing the American presence to 800 or less. Avoiding nuclear war is hardly rocket science. What infuriates me is that Obama moved in a way designed to tie Trump’s hands, so that he’ll have to do a partial stand down, when he could have avoided the deployment altogether. Sure, the Poles are happy to see Americans, but it’s not the job of POTUS to make Poles or Israelis happy, just to be a reliable ally in a manner of his choosing. Smooth transition? Hah!

Wouldn’t mind so much about the troops if Obama had not pulled the weapons systems out of Poland early in his first term.

What makes Barky think he can goad Russian into a war against the man they helped get elected?

He's doing this for some other reason. To deflect attention from something even more egregious.
