With public opinion indicating that the mainstream press has an even lower approval rating than congress critters, why does the MSM keep shooting themselves in the foot?
The latest self-inflicted left-wing casualty is NBC owned BuzzFeed—which chose to publish the unsubstantiated and badly tainted “dossier” on Donald Trump and his “Russian connections”. Their rush to put out what the intelligence community has now referred to as “unvetted information”, has led to a worse than embarrassing moment for BuzzFeed (along with CNN, who reported the event without publishing the 35 page dossier).

Maybe there are some “truly patriotic” advertisers on these networks that will pull their ads signaling “enough is enough!”
Kellogg’s pulled their advertising from the wrong media organization. They should have pulled their advertising from one of the fake news organizations, not Breitbart. Their “rationale” would have actually made sense had they done that.
The communist MSM “Gate Keepers” of Obama’s fraudulent documents pump “Urine Gate” as news.
They never disappoint me!!!

I probably am boycotting and don’t know it. I seldom have my TV on . . and when I do, I’m not watching the stations that have advertising. I’ll have to spend a day taking a look. When I did have it on earlier this winter channel surfing, the only commercials I remember were those peddling prescription drugs for all sorts of ailments.

Do not fear. The MSM will recover without even a whimper of apology.
To whit:
Years ago NBC did a hit-piece about “saddle-tanks” on pick-up trucks being dangerous. They set an explosive charge on the gas tank so that it would blow up when hit in a broadside ‘accident’. Their credibility became zero.
People still watch NBC.
Then CBS/Dan Rather/Mary Mapes tried to influence a presidential election by putting forth a phony story with a “fake but accurate” history of GWB’s military time. Their credibility immediately went to zero.
People still watch CBS.
Then, again, Brian Williams of NBC lied on the air. He was transferred to MSNBC. Their credibility was already zero and I do not know how credibility can be less than zero.
People still watch NBC.
Now we have Buzzfeed/owned by NBC and CNN reporting this crap. Buzzfeed’s credibility immediately went to zero. I have convinced myself that Buzzfeed knew up-front that the report was bogus but they knew that it would increase their exposure to ‘mainstream’ and their popularity/fame/notoriety. The ‘hits’ on the Buzzfeed web site will only increase now, which is what they wanted in the first place.
In addition, I am sure that the other MSM broadcast networks have committed equal atrocities.
None of them are interested in telling the truth. They want only ratings and advertising space.
People still watch all of them.
Conclusion: People are stupid sheep.
I remember Anderson Cooper of “Piss Gate” when he covered Terry Lakins story. But when the BC came out, he suddenly became a “Gate Keeper” of fraudulent records.
Ha Ha !!! What a clown !!!
Read Scot Adams argument on the power of “persuasion techniques” over “logical reasoning” and you will conclude people are sheep in search of a sheepdog!
Maybe Shep and Anderson can rehash a Tea Bagger story to retaliate?

Savana Guthry is good at fake news. Maybe she can hold up the “piss gate” documents to give them authenticity?
