Donald Trump is one of, if not the most, active president-elects in recent history. For better or worse, since November 8th Donald Trump has in many ways already assumed the office of President of the United States. It is common for all president-elects to name their cabinet members, do interviews, buy a pet to bring to the white house, etc. in the days leading to Inauguration Day. However, in keeping with his unconventional style, Trump is redefining what it means to be president-elect.
Since his electoral college victory, Trump has had conversations with important world leaders, has mediated international conflicts, expressed publicly his opinion on foreign governments and even reached out to business leaders in an effort to keep and/or create local jobs. Whether you agree with his politics or not, we must admit that he is tackling many issues that typically wait until after inauguration day.
Remaining true to his campaign rhetoric, Trump continued using social media and public appearances to fire shots at longtime U.S. allies and trade-partners, Mexico and China, saying time and time again that both countries are ripping off the U.S. These countries are the largest trading partners of the United States only after Canada, and its important to highlight that in 2016, the trade balance with Mexico and China showed a deficit, meaning the U.S. imports more than what we export.
As president-elect, Trump stirred controversy by taking a phone call from Taiwans President Tsai Ing-wen, which sent a strong, not-well received message to Beijing: theyre dealing with a completely different presidency. Additionally, Trumps tweets have constantly criticized the Chinese government, while giving continuous compliments to Russias leader Vladimir Putin, breaking a long tradition of keeping a low-key relation with Russia. Trumps tweets have been his favorite tool for international communications....

Franklin Delano Trump?
It would certainly seem so.
Yes.
FDR fur shure.
Trump is definitely a high-energy person.
Yes. He is powered by the prayers of millions.
A Left-wing American friend confessed a few days ago that he was beginning to like Donald Trump: Hes got no mental teleprompter, he told me admiringly, no notes, no filter, no volume control. He just says stuff, and sometimes hes got a point . . .
Just about says it all.
Damned straight he is.
Nature abhors a vacuum
If one scores him by what he has done before he has even taken office,
the answer is yes.
Russia is not an economic threat to the USA. We are an economic threat to them (fracking). China needs to be contained, and Russia as a friend would be helpful. I don’t feel like going to war with Russia to protect Europistan. WWIII will be USA, Russia and China fighting Muslim Europe and ME.
This article states what a lot of us have been thinking. I have never seen a President elect like this before. Trump is not letting grass grow under his feet. He is a man of action and is already Making America Great Again.
No question in my mind that Trump’s Presidency will be like not other. I think some that get in the way like McQueeg are going to get steam rolled. McQueeg was part of the golden shower dirty trick and I hope he pays for it big time.
How did this ever happen? Have you noticed that when Trump delivers a message impromptu, or off the cuff, he never has any hesitation markers? He is very smart and adept at verbiage, unlike his predecessor, a stuttering stupid fool with or without his teleprompter.
Well....almost certainly he’s the hardest working president elect we’ve had in the last century.
Yes, and that’s what terrifies the Left.
I tend to agree. If the left thinks Trump fears what they will throw to him, including the threat of impeachment, they are wrong. Even Rush is worried these days by all the Russian nonsense will lead to the impeachment. I guess Trump has no fear, other than fear of God.
