Former oil executive Rex Tillersons history of politically damaging oil dealings in the Middle East could jeopardize the future of a united Iraq as he assumes the position of U.S. Secretary of State with the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump on January 20th, pending a Senate confirmation vote.
Under Tillersons management in 2011, Exxon Mobil approved oil contracts with Erbil, the capital of the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG), which spans almost 80,000 kilometers in northern Iraq, provided disputed territories are included in the calculations. These lands hold an estimated 45 billion barrels of recoverable oil.

I have read a few “Oilprice” stories. None of them seemed credible.

I don’t see a problem at all, his dealing with the Iraqi Kurds. They are the best Muslims in the whole region.
The implication is that this is against Hillary/Obama policy.

I agree that this is not a negative to have supported the efforts of the Kurds to develop their part of Iraq. Among the Sunnis, Shias and Kurds, who would you want to work with and keep your head.
