Well, I am a male and prefer my doctor to be female. I don’t care her skin color as long as she is educated in the US and speaks native American English. People should see who they prefer and leave the racism and all at home.
Female Doctor: “You’ll have to stop masturbating.”
Male patient: “Why and for how long?”
Female Doctor: “At least for 10 minutes because I am trying to examine you now.”
I had a pretty limited selection in my HMO. First I chose an American doctor educated at UCLA who was a complete jerk and a health Nazi who thought his job was to dictate patients lifestyle, and our job was to do what he wanted. He never looked up from making notes on his laptop the whole time he talked to me. The worst doctor I ever saw. I want a doctor who will explain my condition and options and let me chose. So after my second appointment I picked a new PCP. Now I go to a clinic with all Russian female staff. They’re knowledgeable, explain what’s going on, listen to me, and let me choose. They all speak English well for a second language, and I don’t mind the Russian accenta. All in all I’m pretty happy.
The man that cut open my eyes and put lenses in them due to cataracts was Chinese. My gastroenterologist is a white female married to a Vietnamese my former one was Indonesian of Chinese ancestry. My physician is a white dude that wears cowboy boots. My wife is Mexican. I use the doctors I do because they are damn good at their job. My wife, I love.
I am a white dude that is sick of all this political correctness crap.
