Every Thursday, the actor, comedian and producer Tim Heidecker hosts open-line office hours. Fans of his absurdist comedy, most of which runs on Time Warners Adult Swim network, call in to talk. On most days, they run the gamut from fans to superfans.
But on Dec. 8, Heidecker took a call from Sam Hyde, the face of the comedy troupe Million Dollar Extreme. Its own Adult Swim series, World Peace, had been scrapped after a six-episode run.
Didnt you want the show canceled? asked Hyde. Didnt you campaign against our show?
For 12 minutes, live on Facebook, Hyde mocked Heideckers views and accused him of leading a lynch mob, including the actor Brett Gelman and director Judd Apatow, against him.
Half of your audience tells me that Im irrelevant, that Im finished, that Im worthless, then in the next breath they tell me Im pulling strings, said Heidecker. Its coordinated, consistent, nasty, violent, nasty ... death threats coming at me.(continued)

No more ATHF, Squidbillies, and Archer is probably toast too. RIP Futurama.
I suppose nobody would watch their PSA garbage shows like FG if something good was on. Kinda like the music biz. Plenty of awesome talented artists, but they don't promote any of them for the same garbage sales principal.
I loved ATHF, even though I’m far from their demographic. Tom Goes to the Mayor was interesting.
Is there a version of this article in English?
Not into Adult Swim?
It’s obscure reference to the cable channel adult swim.
LOL Exactly what I was thinking. I don't speak "rant" very well. I have watched Adult Swim since the start waaay back when they only had the one promo.."All kids out of the pool"... Back then it was pretty much Ghost in the Shell and Coyboy Bebop - still my all time favorite, especially the episode where they find that old betamax tape of Faye when she was a child doing the "Go Me!" cheer... and she hid and cried because she could not remember and then I cried because it was the saddest thing I ever saw and now I am crying again just thinkng about it...but I digress.
I think I know what you mean. The pattern and phrasing of the entire article was strange.
Even the chronologic markers, the vignettes meant to indicate linear sequence, of telling what the hell happened, even those remarks were not always in logical order. Who knows why. I wasn’t sure if the writer was trying to be clever or what. I think the writer was writing only for those who already are familiar with Adult Swim as it is today.
Squidbillies is utter garbage.
Archer isn’t on Adult Swim.
ATHF had a good run.
There are tons of other shows that are good however.
Rick and Morty is amazing.
Total Rickall and Mr Messed is are awesome episodes. Eric Andre is great for being absurd.
Venture Bros. was my favorite.
The flu one, and the unity episode are my two favorites.
Eric Andre has gotten some laughs out of me I have to admit.
I liked Venture Brothers also.
I thought I read that it was going to come back on.
AS’ caving to protestors was wrong. That said, World Peace was a painfully unfunny attempt to be the new Tim & Eric.
