I think Trump is going to go old school Russia China Balancing Act
Trump main goal is international trade... our main problem is we’re out of balance with China on that
So Trump has to push on China .. has to get concessions from China otherwise it doesn’t work he going to have to push on them hard economically
But we have the other problems that China is a military rivalry ...we push them economically they started rattling sabers militarily
So this is where Russia comes in play Trump is going to improve the relationships with Russia ... one of the reasons he wants that in place friend with just have that much extra weight on China’s border
This is also why Trump is going to buddy up more with India again as that othar counterweight to China On the Border...why do you think he was pitching the Hindu so hard the other night in Orlando?.. he going to be a friend to India..
We’re not talking big dramatic changes were talking just enough that when Trump starts to renegotiate things economically with China ...
With a US friendly Russia and India on China’s borders ..
China will less inclined to start “bluffing” with military saber rattling when they start to get a little bit of economic pressure
It’s no different than business politics .. you want to deak with an economic rival ...it smart to line up political friends so your economic rival feels a little politically intimidated
He’s got to take China down just a notch by sliding up all Chinese rivals, Russia. India and even Taiwan up a notch in US relationships
Your comments make a lot of sense. Trump is resetting the chess board.
Great post.
As the most powerful leader in the world (because he not only has such power, but is willing to use it), Trump is going to re-jiggle the balance of power in the world.
The U.S. is now the leader of the world...not just the free world.
Freedom is ascendant.
I have been reminding people Russia is a Christian country in a world that is increasingly anti-christian. The fact that they are fighting ISIS... We should be thanking them for standing up when Obama stood down.
