Whilst Russia and America continue to fiddle - Syria and Iraq bleed and burn.
The United States and Russia seem set to jointly confront their common enemy - Islamic State - once President-elect Donald Trump is sworn into office on 20 January 2017.
This possibility emerged after a telephone call between Trump and Vladimir Putin following Trumps stunning presidential victory on 8 November.
President Obamas failure to co-operate with Putin for the last two years in seeking to degrade and destroy Islamic State has resulted in hundreds of thousands of needless civilian deaths and injuries and the internal and external displacement of millions of Syrians and Iraqis.
It would be great if Russia and the USA could straighten Assad out wrt Iranian, Saudi, PAki etc. invited meddling.
Haha. What is the UN security council going to do if the US and Russia say FU all, and go after ISIS? Maybe the security council will give US and Russia a spanking.......hahahahahahahaha.
LOL. This is hilarious.
Assad doesn’t need any straightening out.
He needs to stay in power.
Otherwise the muslims in Syria won’t be in check anymore. Like in Libya, Iraq, and almost Egypt.
The United Nazis have totally discredited themselves. Forget the UN BS. Just hope president Trump reverses Obama’s buildup arming and funding of our Islamic enemies — gets together where helpful with Russia to destroy them (they’re enemies of both our countries so we should be able to cooperate to destroy them).
By calling for a world-wide caliphate ISIS has declared war on every nation on earth. Nobody needs any “authority” from the UN to respond.
Assad is largely a puppet of Iran, an ally of Russia (for some inexplicable reason).
The UN is filled to the brim with Islamic states. The Security Council will never pass any kind of anti-Islamic resolution.
