The amusing side to this story is that 10-percent of right-wing folks like this secession idea in California....so if you got social media involved, and college kids...you could probably get more than 50-percent to vote for it.

In this case....Jefferson would immediately vote for secession from the Republic of California...to join the US, and the rest of California would break up into five or six states within a couple of years.

Californians like to boast about how big their state would be as a country if they left. However, if they did leave, the aerospace and defense industry would have to move back to the US. And Silicon Valley would have to move back to the US as well. The only reason Silicon Valley exists in the Bay area is because that is where the biggest venture capitalists are. Those would move inside the US again, because it is a bigger market.
