You do not understand the power of Doublethink.
Doublethink means the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.
And curiously, this dichotomy never occurs to the person holding the contradictory beliefs.
What’s disturbing is that nobody, so it seems, in the media gets the intelligence and logic of DJT. To be able to express a complex argument as a simple contradiction is brilliant. It’s the very best way to destroy their argument.
