AGREED , The DOJ needs to set standards for the states elections when the elections are for Federal offices ,, maybe give them 6-12 months to clean up their rules and voter rolls and then prosecute.

The DOJ’s voter integrity section should first force all states to comply with the motor voter law requiring they purge deceased, voters who have moved and non-citizens from their voter rolls. The DOJ can sue them to force this. Also, the commission that approves the individual state’s motor voter form can place a requirement, (such as Arizona attempted and that the Holder DOJ fought), that all registrations done on the federal motor voter form must include proof of citizenship. All of that can be done by the DOJ and the agencies without any involvement of Congress since the law already exist allowing these actions.
