Bias? What bias?
As Dan wrote earlier, “fake news” is the left’s newest boogeyman. The pretense is that it’s a battle cry against phony news sites that post absolute falsehoods. In reality, “fake news” is a catch-all term that can be applied to any news or opinion site that doesn’t toe the Democrat line. If they don’t like what you publish, you’re “fake news.” If you’re participating in the anti-Trump histrionics, you’re probably good to go.
First of all, aren’t these the very same people who spent the last eight years telling us that “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report” did better news than actual news outlets?
There is also The Onion and Alfred E. Newman.
Anything pertaining to Sarah Palin on the LSM since 2008 is probably fake.
I submit that The Onion has more accurate reporting than MSNBC.
The Ministry of Propaganda is the fake news.
To them it is all about the narrative.
The narrative has no relation to the truth.
The narrative must always advance the agenda.

Shows that are FAKE NEWSCASTS. At least that’s what they say when you press them on their bias.
But otherwise they treated John Stewart as a real newsman. When he left all they could talk about was who will they get to be the new “anchor”. Again, for a fake news show, that they say they get their news from! They even have discussions as to who their favorite “correspondent” was!
These are flipping stand-up comics!
The Onion is (or used to be) so outrageous and weird that it could be funny and no one could take it seriously. And their subjects used to be a bit more generic in nation.
As opposed to a site such as dailycurrant which would just make up outrageous lies about actual people and call it satire. I don’t know how many times I had to correct people who would post a dailycurrant Sarah Palin (for example) story, where they would opine Wow, shows you just how big an idiot she really is. Depending upon how friendly I was with the poster, I’d let them know who the real idiot was.

The Onion has taken to adding real news stories. Real cutting-edge stuff...like you see at every other news source.
Liberals think that the people are simply not informed enough. It would never occur to them that people are informed, they just don’t agree with the liberals.
Any media company wanting to complain about “fake news” needs to start with an analysis of their own 2004 coverage after Rather’s “fake but accurate” report. I can’t remember a single one who refused to cover the “news” though they all acknowledged the evidence was “fake” and Rather’s methods didn’t live up to their “ethical standards”. “fake” was not bad in 2004.
How did that happen in their newsroom?
What changes did they put in place to keep it from happening?
If they don’t have answers to those questions, then they are still “fake news” organizations.
According to the NY Post, Trump tore the MSM a new one in Trump Tower yesterday. I read it, and thought “I hope/wish that Sarah Palin had been the specter at that feast."
