He was a Cruz-bot. He seems to have been driven insane by Cruz’s defeat.
What’s funny is that, for several years, Deace constantly talked about “slappies.” By this he meant people who idolized a candidate, viewed him as The Savior, etc.
When Cruz began lying about Trump, Deace repeated all of Cruz’s lies, accusing Trump of lying constantly, etc.
Now, he views Trump as an existential threat to Christianity in America. He sees all the Christian clergy who are supporting Trump as having sold their souls to the Devil. He says that Trump has conned these clergy into “totally redefining” Christianity and “the movement.”
What’s kind of fascinating about Deace is the level of insanity. Is he really insane, or has he been bought? And who would think it worthwhile to buy him?
