Three people - two of them children - were found dead, and three others were injured, in a stabbing inside a New Jersey home, according to authorities.
The three victims who died have been identified as: Aerial Little Whitehurst, female, 8, of Newark; Al-Jahon Whitehurst, male, 11, of Newark; and Syasia McBurroughs, female, 23, of Cedar Knolls, according to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.
The two children were pronounced dead at University Hospital in Newark at 4:40 p.m. and Syasia McBurroughs was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other victims, a 29 year old female, a 13 year old male and a 13 year old female, remain hospitalized in critical, but stable condition, according to Chief Assistant Prosecutor Thomas S. Fennelly of the Prosecutor's Homicide Unit
The Newark Police Division and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Jeremy Arrington, who is wanted for questioning, but should be considered armed-and-dangerous. Arrington is described as approximately 5’9 and 170lbs.
The ECPO said the crime does not appear to be a random act, saying they believe the suspect had a relationship with one of the victims.
The crime happened around 3:50 p.m. after a 911 one call was made, and police then responded.
This incident is being investigated by the Essex County Prosecutor's Major Crimes Task Force, which includes detectives from the Newark Police Department. The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
Acting Prosecutor Carolyn Murray and Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose are urging anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts to immediately call by dialing 911, or by anonymously calling either the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office tip line at1-877-847-7432 or the Police Division’s Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867).
All Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.

When the description is just “5’9 and 170lbs”, you don’t need more of a description.
My guess is that he was an ex- or wannabe boyfriend of either the deceased 23 year old, or the 29 year old. More likely the 23 year old, since he attacked her.
His beard looks very islamic.
What a horrible description.
As usual, leaving out another piece of pertinent information.
Regrettably, unnecessary in Newark.
