I have been thinking about the election and some of my experiences which have helped me make the correct selection. As most of my friends that were in the AF will recall, we were public servants and as such we had Integrity First, Service before self, and Excellence in all we do. I think those are still core values to this day. About those and the candidates.
Integrity - HRC has not demonstrated this value to me at all. DT is kinda an unknown, but by all accounts cannot be worse. If you wanna call it a tie, be my guest, but I give this to Trump because of the KNOWNS about Clinton.
Service - HRC how can it be service before self when all that we see points to her trying to enrich her family and friends only, with the Clinton Foundation perks for one? And what has she accomplished in 30 years? Trump has and does enrich himself, but he has also employed and enriched thousand of other people.
Excellence - HRC, Benghazi. Trump - The Trump brand and his (by all accounts) very good and accountable family.
When I look at all these things, and while none of the choices are perfect, Trump clearly rises above.
If a poster isn't voting for Trump, they do NOT belong on this site!
All you have to do is look at Trump’s issues and policy statements...That SHOULD be enough....
I try to explain to people this would not be the Bill Clinton administration v.2. The Democrats have pushed far to the left since the 90's and there would be no triangulating, no compromises with a Republican Congress. Hillary has made it very clear she intends to govern even to the left of Obama.
For any conservative or even establishment Republican this is an easy choice.
Hillary is for chopping up babies. Trump is against.
To simplify your decision-making process in all future elections, all Democrats are for chopping up babies.
It is almost beyond belief that so many American voters can be willfully ignorant of the vast and pernicious corruption that Hillary Rotten Clinton represents , and from which she has operated from , her entire adult life. Along with her failed President husband , Bill Clinton . Do people forget ? Or do they somehow just not choose to remember or think ? It requires a mass and willful suspension of disbelief . Are so many people in this country really that stupid? That callous ? That un-American ? I personally am ashamed and embarrassed that so many of what I am told are ‘ my fellow Americans’ are people in that category . The Basket of extremely stupid people . What gives them the right to suspend all good judgement and vote for a person is so unashamedly and unabashedly corrupt ? To vote for a person whose bad judgement and failed policies have resulted in the the bloody deaths of countless of thousands of persons around the world . Primarily in the Middle East and Africa , but also ” four dead Americans ” …. I have really begun to question this system of leadership selection that we have devolved in to , which allows such a criminally corrupt person to boldly run for , and potentially win , the nation’s highest office . It’s insanity . To see so much of the U.S. ( and world ) media turn to support this evil vile , corrupt person is also sickening to me . What kind of country , what kind of world , would they have us exist in? I do not know about you , but I for one will NEVER accept a ‘president hillary clinton ‘ . Never. If by some sick twist if fate , or by the utter stupidity and un-Americaness of a majority of American voters , she ‘wins’ . I do here pledge to NEVER acknowledge her victory and to NEVER acknowledge her as my President . NEVER ! I will consider it an open and internal declaration of war , by all those stupid ,witless HRC supporters , against all of the rest of us . I will spend the rest of my life vigorously opposing any such electoral outcome . Again I have to state ; I am ashamed of many of my fellow American people , that they are so pathetic and so faithless , as to vote for someone SO EVIL , and to excuse her of all her vast basket of criminality , and to cast their vote for her . I deliver unto them , in the strongest and most contemptuous context possible : Shame shame shame on you !…..Clinton voters are the enemy of the United States . Equal to ISIS . No surrender , no forgiveness , no rapprochement. NEVER ,

Everyone has a reason and in my mind this a good logical approach to such a divisive issue without getting into rhetoric. Sorry you were offended by my drivel.

I prefer to blindfold both candidates and throw lawn darts at them. To make it fair, I will leave Hitlary with her left eye unblinded. Which ever one can avoid three darts, wins! /s
I look at the most exciting, compelling, dynamic figure in American politics in thirty years, but daggone it, Yeb! isn’t running, so I guess I’ll vote for Trump instead.
I’m kinda beat up and want to know that my nephews and nieces and my cousins’ and friends’ kids, as well as everyone’s here, have a future to look forward to.
I will be MUCH more at peace with whatever life brings once I know the kids (which is under 30 to me) are safe
They refuse to even consider that the Clintons could be that evil and corrupt.
Since it’s all about diversity, equality, civil rights and the chiiiiiiildren, according to Hillary, they have latched onto her fiercely and refuse to let go.
To face the truth and realize how corrupt she is requires them to jettison their support and invalidates their virtue signalling support for her.
They cannot do that or deal with the cognitive dissonance that would mess up their little minds even more so they just hang on even tighter than ever and call us racist, homophobic, xenophobic liars.
