After reading the post title, I then thought I was reading the wrong article .... the fat lady is definitely not ‘singing’ in this piece. I expected to see something equivalent to what Doug Schoen did last night .... but this blogger guy is still marching right along to the Hilly drumbeat.

Me neither. I read the article. This guy (whoever the hell he is) is quite optimistic actually, and to characterize this article as “Dems giving up” is pure bullshit.
Easy does it...... she’s not singing yet....granted, she’s clearing her throat.... but three things.... Demrats stick together, have lotsa dirty tricks and have a complicit liberal media in their back pocket.
As quick as it changed last week, it could change again this week.... TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED!

As much as I would love to believe the Dems are throwing in the towel, that is not the impression I got from reading this.
Trump could use his FCC to force those networks to divest the broadcast stations they own.
They are a small percentage of the total. There would be minimal financial impact, and the new owners would likely continue to air network programs.

They were 13% in 2008 and 2012. 2% drop means a loss of 180,000 DEM votes!
A more effective strategy for Trump would be to use antitrust law to bust-up their corporate parents.
I don't understand the details, but it seems to me that the government could simply declare that it will give the broadcasting license to Joe Schmoe that it used to give to the ABC/NBC/CBS affiliate in Peoria.
Why did three and only three content providers get licenses to use the broadcast airwaves in perpetuity?
Let Brenda's Broadcasting have this year. Bill's Broadcasting next year. Bobbie's Broadcast the year after that, and so on.
