But you have to ask yourself - would the White House and/or DNC allow Crazy Joe, a loose cannon anyway, to be interviewed without knowing exactly what was going to be thrown at him?
Call me a cynic, but it’s hard to believe the VP didn’t already know about Weiner, and that it would come up in the interview.
Maybe just because they know he’s a loose cannon.
How soon was it known that Weiner’s computer was the trigger for the announcement? It takes some time for information to be spread through organizations - the person who sent Crazy Joe out there may not have gotten the word on Weiner in time to prep him. They moved quickly in responding, perhaps too quickly. :=) /speculation
