I remember clearly, reading a comment from a State Dept employee, after the 2004 election. Apparently, at a meeting in the State Dept, someone in charge of one of the sections (obviously a Democrat) after hearing ‘GWB won over 50% of the votes and we will now support his agenda’ said, ‘but Kerry won just under 50% of the votes and we will still support his/our agenda’. And from what I have read recently, Obama’s minions are scurrying from appointed jobs to secure, tenured jobs from which they cannot be fired. Trump is going to have his work cut out for him......he must CLEAN HOUSE and get rid of those who would undermine him.
I’d love to see Scott Walker as Secretary of Labor. Give him a mandate — government unions should be illegal. Make all government employees into “at will” employees.

Trump should order all of these employees to the new federal facility in Ft. Yukon, Alaska. Oh, there’s no building there yet for these people? OK, fine, the Army Corps of Engineers can build something from local materials (i.e. logs)...and get some help from these federal employees to chop the trees down. They still get their normal vacations, but travel time to and from Ft. Yukon is a bit longer than from DC or some big Lower 48 city...so they’ll really only have about 4 days off if they take 2 weeks. Too bad, comes with the job. Don’t like the working conditions? Fine - then quit.
