Dilbert’s recent turn away from Trump makes me wonder if this wasn’t his plan all along. Start out Pro Trump and slowly build a case against Trump. Try to sway people after you have their admiration.

I watched the infamous hot mike video. The greeter babe flirts and tries to stand near Trump. Billy Bush maneuvers to get her in between the two men. She links her arm through each man’s arm. Trump keeps his arm completely straight down in a business-like manner. At the end, he is encouraged to give the babe a kiss which he does far back on her cheek, almost to her ear, then says “Melania says that’s ok. Trump behaved in a completely gentlemanly way. If. It for the that one word, which I believe was classic Trump hyperbole, the entire thing would never have resonated. I hope that a single word in an 11 year old video doesn’t cost Trump, and the nation, the presidency.

We should use the word “bully” in relation to H’s supporters because that is what they are. Even they don’t like bullies.

I’ll start with a true story that a good female friend once told me about going on a blind date with a famous billionaire (not Trump) years ago. A mutual friend set them up. On the night of the date, she drove to his mansion and a servant let her in. The billionaire came downstairs a few minutes later, introduced himself, and asked if she wanted to have sex before or after dinner.

I like to leave "during" on the table as a third option.
