Factor in the left’s obsession with “smart gun control” and its not hard to understand why. 2A is really and truly the only thing that protects 1A, all the others, and ultimately the entire Constitution. “They” know this. That is why they constantly attack 2A and its supporters/defenders. 1A is being undermined actively and passively - has been for decades.
From the rat playbook: they are preparing for a Trump win. During lame duck session Obama escalates Syria to a point when Trump takes office he is already behind the 8 ball. This will prevent him from focusing on SCOTUS and all the departments he would get rid of and staff. This will also put congress in a position to further stress Trump.
