Words... The purpose of giving us the right words to say is really to eliminate other things we might say. Things not approved by the pop culture and the State
January 13, 2016, FoxNews.com: An email sent last week to Tinseltowns A-listers by Associate Director of Public Engagement at the White House Jesse Moore titled Artists & Entertainers Unite to #StopGunViolence and addressed to Family offered Twitter-ready talking points for showing support for President Obamas gun control agenda. FoxNews.com, which obtained a copy of the email, compared it to tweets sent by such stars as Ashton Kutcher, and found that the stars passed the thoughts [of the State] on to adoring fans with little or no ad-libbing.
They can call it what they will, but it is a calculated coercive move to undermine the Bill of Rights provision which allows citizens freedom of conscience and freedom of expression.
With controlled thought, there is no freedom of expression or conscience.
Confront any inculcated prog with irrefutable proof from their own small list of acceptable sources. They will shut down, say “I don’t care” and walk away, never to return.
Even ‘intelligent’ has been co-opted. It means:”Agreement with progressive statements taken as truth without examination.”
Attempted murder by an invader? The prog forgives them with excuses having nothing to do with reality, even if the assailant tells them the reason is hatred and denial of their humanity.
Dem as sexual aggressor? “Just sex. Irrelevant.” R as sexual aggressor?”Frightening, life-changing threat. Not to be tolerated.”
Proven corruption by a prog pol? “It’s the way of the world. Get a life.” Alleged corruption by an R? “Capital punishment and banishment from public affairs.”
They are the Borg.
Sapir-Whorf theory - that language affects thought patterns
Liberals have taken this to heart and it drives their censorship.
Want to wipe out bad thoughts? The first step is to not let people speak or write their ideas, because it will spread the bad ideas. Then root it out by prohibiting every word associated with the concept on the theory that if you ban every sexist, racist, -phobic term, people cannot literally think that way.
