Pull!, A bright orange disc flies out of the trap house at a pace only slightly slower than the speed of light. You were hoping for a lob, a gimme, or a straightaway that you could transform into orange powder and boost your confidence a little, but you dont get any of those.
This nightmare scenario is played out time and again on trap shooting ranges all over the country, and sometimes we reluctantly find ourselves in the starring role. You have to get a good shotgun, one that is built for the task; a shotgun designed to make it easier for you to turn those elusive little clays into powder, and CZ-USA has something new that may be just what you are looking for. CZ-USA HAS TURNED OUT impressive shotguns for several years, but the brand-new player in their lineup is the All-American Trap Combo. David Miller CZ's shotgun guru and the current Guinness Book of World Record holder. He knows a thing or three about them, and between trigger pulls, he tells us about the company's new smoothbore.
THE FIRST GROUP OF FEATURES consists of drop-in replaceable action components, three sizes of replaceable locking lugs, and easy-to-replace firing pins and bushings. The drop-in parts feature is huge. A well-used trap gun will fire thousands of rounds a year, and no matter how well made it is, some parts will wear out faster than others. The ability to quickly replace things like bushings, hinge pins and firing pins will be greatly appreciated by the avid shooter. Read the rest of the story here.

CZ has a long distinguished history. I own one of their iconic Tokarev-firing tack drivers, the CZ52 which I picked up for a song. At least I did before the unfortunate amphibian car accident.
I only have Brownings I used in competition for years, and my old Model 12 for Turkey shoots, adapted with a slanting ventilated rib on a 32 inch barrel. Great for shooting over water in nightime shoots and never failed me on real windy days. Great for hunting Wood Pigeons too.
I’ve never shot this weapon, but I can attest as to CZs superb craftsmanship. I own several CZ pistols and rifles. Extremely well made and deadly accurate. They are an excellent weapons manufacturer.

MSRP is $3,399.
A little rich for my blood.
My grandson is just a few punches away from becoming a Master Shooter and is seriously thinking about trying to train and compete in the Olympics so in the grand scheme of things it could be worth it for him.
He maybe able to get someone to help him out with the cost.
A rich benefactor.
Those are few and far between here. There is only one sanctioned shoot a year within 100 miles. He has to go to Arizona when the have the Ironman to get a lot of punches and Albuquerque.
You might post to the Bang list a few times asking for ideas on how to get help.
No, we could swing it.
It would be wonderful if he could get a sponsor though. He’s drop dead handsome and that isn’t just Grandma talk. He’s very polite and all the old guys have practically adopted him. He’s quiet but not shy.
