They seem to be sort of gloating about this. But, these people can’t find work, very few countries would admit them even if they had the funds to emigrate. Several were on state pensions and couldn’t afford anything better. What did they expect would happen, other than this?
At least those squatter camps weren’t garbage strewn and filthy, they seemed relatively neat for what they were, a collection of makeshift buildings built from scrap, old camping trailers and old cars.
The British have never had good relations with Afrikaners.
Lots of the Anglo-Africans that could already left.
