Go back and read again Tale of Two cities. What were the two cities? What did they have in common that was key to the book? I was sort of shocked when I read this last year because you just dont see this stuff when you are younger.
Okay, if I recall, the two cities are Paris and London. They have an awful lot in common. I know that Dickens wrote the book as a warning to England in particular and the world in general what could happen if you ignore the needs of the common people for too long.

Yeah, the contrast was between Paris and London but the common link was THE BANK and the reason for the travel back and forth. The poor were treated pretty badly in both.

IIRC it was the Rothschild’s that cashed in by claiming Napoleon had won at Waterloo and spent a day or so scooping up crashed stocks only to sell them back at huge profits a day later.
