Conservative Party leadership candidate Kellie Leitch caused a stir last week when she sent out a questionnaire asking Canadians if they think new immigrants should be screened to see if they have anti-Canadian values. The reaction from the left was predictable; but that paled in comparison to the reaction of high-profile members of the CPC from the interim leader to the other leadership candidates.
With the exception of Leitch, the notion that the main duty of a government is to protect its citizens has gone the way of the ten-cent cup of coffee. Political correctness rules. Anyone who opposes the notion that Canada should not allow immigrants who hate our way of life to come here is a xenophobe, a racist, a homophobe and most importantly, Islamophobic.
I think we have a global affliction
Leftists thrive on misery, which is why they tend to clump together in big urban areas.
If there isn’t enough misery, they manufacture it.
And there’s never enough.
Can you imagine how wealthy we would all he had liberals and leftists not held us back?
