The 1% want President Hillary Clinton
Vice News ^ | September 9, 2016 | Alex Thompson

Polls may still show a relatively competitive presidential race, but Hillary Clinton is winning a fundraising landslide among the country's 1 percent.

Newly released campaign finance reports through the end of July show that upper-crust Republicans are not backing Donald Trump even though the majority of the party's base supports the nominee. The result is a campaign without precedent in more than a century, with elites on both sides of the aisle and from nearly every sector of American industry overwhelmingly supporting Clinton.

Well-heeled GOPers may disagree with Clinton's policies, but she appeals to people that benefit from the status quo, said Bob Biersack, a senior fellow at the Center for Responsive Politics. Her policy proposals are less drastic than Trump's, and her long history in politics makes her more predictable.

"Many donors want to maintain their relationships with decision makers, and the more eccentric Trump's campaign looks, the more problematic it looks, the more they will be driven towards Hillary," said Biersack, who worked for three decades at the Federal Elections Commission (FEC).

Through the end of July, 1,340 donors who gave more than $200 to Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign committees and Super PACs had given to Clinton campaign committees and Super PACs but not Trump's, according to analysis by Crowdpac, a nonpartisan political crowdfunding startup.

Less than half of 1 percent of Americans give more than $200 dollars to political candidates, parties, or PACs in a given election cycle. Among that sliver of the electorate, the Clinton campaign committee has raised more than $200 million, 63 percent of the committee's total raised through the end of July. The Trump campaign committee has raised only $19.3 million from that group, or just 15 percent of its total, according to the Center for Responsive Politics....

We are at a point where I think money doesn’t matter that much. With social media being free and open....Facebook and Twitter can carry the bulk of your message. Why waste $200 million on TV ad’s?

The rich elites support Hillary for the most part with some in the “Libertarian” camp of Johnson.

Many of us “suckers” on the Right and the Left have woken up to realize we are being had by the fake “Conservative” Republicans and the fake “Progressive” Democrats.

Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein are living proof of this happening on the Left and Donald Trump appeals to those of us on the Right who are fed up with the phoniness of the corporatist RINO’s who call themselves “Conservative”.

The Democrats are supposed to be the “Progressive-Green” party on the side of Mother Earth and Native Americans.

Yet the Obama Administration approved an oil pipeline through land sacred to the Indians and land owned by small farmers and ranchers because big money told them to do so.

Their symbolic backtracking on the Dakota Access Pipeline yesterday (a review of previously permits) comes as they feel the heat of the Leftists and Indians protesting in North Dakota and elsewhere.

The 1% cares only about THEIR profits. The suffering vast middle class is immaterial to them. Therefore the 1% want the CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS to continue full speed ahead, with imported cheap foreign workers on H1-B visa’s and exporting manufacturing and services to cheap labor countries. Is it any wonder why we have 94 million American adults without jobs?

The Democrat Party is the party of the establishment. The party of government.

The government sucks. The establishment sucks. What else can I say?

Vote straight GOP this November!

We don’t want them anyway, but they will pay in the end. Their influence is not welcome here at all. I hope they all suffer financially and jump out of their 54th story accommodations.

When you have paid for access so you can get whatever you want, you no longer have to compete against leaner, hungrier competitors. You can relax, sip champagne and enjoy life. You nod thoughtfully as the Wall Street Journal announces your competitors are out of business. You nod, smile, look over the tray of hors doeuvres and drug selections your Iranian aide just brought in.

Money always matters - just a lot of folks feel more comfortable telling themselves this isn't so in order to not feel guilty about not supporting a candidate with tangible donations or even helping keep FR on the air - all pain in the ass stuff better left to others.

Those people thank you for your supportive statement.

Baloney. They support her because she's easily bought, and she sells out cheap. They hate Donald Trump because he can't be bought.

My sister (actually, both of them I presume) is a big Hillary supporter. She is one of those people living in Columbia MD (bedroom district of DC), making good money, although not part of the 1%. She was up to see the family in August, and the conversation turned briefly to politics. She has suddenly gotten a series of talking points down pat (after years of not being able to argue back on any substance).

What were the points? “Taxes are GREAT! They allow me and everyone I live and work with to live nice lives! Why would I want someone elected who wants to reduce taxes when it would hurt my lifestyle?”. I said I PAY those taxes! She said, “yes, and I get paid well!”. She has NEVER sounded so arrogant and elitist in her life. Is that what the conversation has turned to in the richest counties in the country??? I was appalled. I don't think I'll be buying and cooking any more holiday meals for her, or hosting her at my house. I think I've reached the point where family no longer is more important than politics...

These idiots likely never read the history of the French Revolution. The “One-Percenters” did not fare so well. History may not repeat itself, but it sure as hell rhymes.

There are those who do not yet understand that the quest for a NWO including centralized global government is very real and very close to realization.

Until We The People care enough to do something about it. There are just two questions. Will that ever happen? Will that happen before it is too late?

I think We The People are asleep or perhaps not very interested.
