The unintended consequence of convincing the low-information types (on both sides) that the election is over, that it is a foregone conclusion for Illary, is that a lot of Dems who might show up for a close election (including, but not exclusively, Blacks) won’t bother to vote (”my vote doesn’t matter anyway, but especially now that Hillary is going to win big”).
