Online polls are not random. Aside from being a silly mental boost, they are useless.
“Vapping”, in this context, means making a solid and unshakeable conviction of conscience, based on nothing more substantial than the vapors that drift off an e-cigarette. Mostly vapor and no substance, as in the imagined capabilities of a computer, through “vaporware”, as compared to hardware or software.
Imagine university IT guys writing scripts to loop through votes online. Even using all university assets off hours.
I can believe your dog was thinking that. Your cat was probably thinking "So, when are you going to do something about all this rain?"
Likewise, DU.

Was it being FReeped (or an equivalent) before the lib assault?
Limited faith can be placed in any poll that is voluntary and comprised of proactive internet clicks.
All this tells you is how aware of the given poll party activists happen to be, spreading the word to click on the poll. Add to that a certain groundswell of random viewer interest, which can be predictably modelled from the demographics of the given media outlet.
This is probably what happened with the CNN poll. At first, a large number of Trump supporters were informed of the poll and quickly logged in to place their votes. Later, the usual liberal dominated contingent of regular CNN viewers (who would more frequently click on the website too) showed up and eventually the predictable Clinton bias of the CNN poll took over.
There is no way that Jill Stein is anywhere near 20% in the real opinion polls, perhaps 1 to 2 per cent. Johnson is probably in the 4 to 7 range. Among living legitimate voters it is probably Trump 48 Clinton 46 Johnson 5 Stein 1 which translates to Trump 45 Clinton 49 Johnson 5 Stein 1 when the dead and twice-counted are factored in. (wish I were kidding)
Can people vote more than once in the online NBC poll, I wonder.
