Exactly. When he asked her about what Comey had said, and she replied something to the effect of “...that’s not the way I understood it....”, then he should have asked her to tell him EXACTLY what she thought Comey had said. He should have made her analyze the words from the Comey quotations, and explain, word by word, how she might have understood it differently than his plain English.
The same with the Benghazi, he did not push hard enough. She replied that people misunderstood, and she had said it was a terror attack from the beginning. He should have asked why 0bama and Rice were still saying it was a video for at least a couple weeks later.
I was disappointed in his interview, and feel that he let her skate.
