“The Republican Party Platform: Finally, Pushback”
Canada Free Press ^ | 07/31/16 | Sylvia Thompson

Entire platform is a clarion cry to the progressive Left that we have had enough

I recall a while back reading a statement attributed to John Boehner, the former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. He was reported to have said that nobody reads the party platform. That may have been the case in the past, but if this one is ignored, there will be consequences to pay (2016 Republican National Platform).

After many disgusting years of Republican establishment types telling the American people one thing in its platform promises and proceeding to do other things, contrary to the people’s will, the 2016 platform has finally acknowledged the concerns of many conservatives.

A lot of people read the platform, nobody does anything about implementing it. That is, if you don’t count Newt’s “Contract With America”.

How much of Newt’s plan was implemented?
How much is STILL?

Unfort., the tide may recede, but even ‘our side’ doesn’t attempt to stem the tide for long (IMO, exactly one second after hearing they won).

You can’t hold their feet to the fire if you don’t know where the fire is.

Here’s hoping, no praying Trump and this platform and his plans will finally put an end to the nearly 8 year of the Obama/Clinton Reign of Error against the United States.

The Constitution. That’s all that’s needed for the ‘baseline’.

In the last 40yrs, since the ‘great’ Reagan (he was a man, not the 2nd coming), can *anyone* point to where govt has been STAGNANT, let alone REDUCED?? What dept was abolished? What agency removed? Which of our usurped Rights and Freedoms were restored?

They were elected on the *PROMISE* of repealing O’Care, stopping exec. amnesty, de-funding PP and the like...They not only failed to TRY to stop any one of ‘em, they gave Zero card blache to continue on his Banana Republic crusade.

And some ridicule the Left for being voluntary plantation slaves.
