I re-read the semi-satire and still don’t get the point of your post - other than to be supportive of the BLM perspective. It paints police in an inept negative light, and gives credence to the BLM argument.

If you post semi-satire to post semi-satire because that’s what you are known to do, I guess that is your thing. Just like every other BLM scene, there is always more to the story - the truth.

In the recent Miami incident the police did look inept. There was no gun. There was no aggression toward the police. The individual they shot at was sitting on the ground playing with a toy truck. The individual hit by one of the three shots was lying on the ground with his hands up.

An across the board knee-jerk defense of every police shooting is just as bad as an across the board knee-jerk condemnation. We need to be able to objectively assess each case on its own merits. In the vast majority of instances the shootings seem justified. But from time to time there is an unjustified shooting. Surely we can recognize that reality.
