And a weird sop to the racial-grievance industry
CLEVELANDTed Cruz did the Republican Party no favors last night when he pointedly refused to endorse GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, breaking a promise he and other rival candidates made at the outset of the primary campaign last year.
Cruz also made what appeared to be some kind of overture to race baiters by mentioning aspiring cop-killer Alton Sterling who was recently shot dead by Baton Rouge police during an altercation. It seemed very odd, but maybe in retrospect it shouldnt. After all, Cruz went along with leftists and a few other GOPers by baselessly smearing Trump as a racist after he urged the deportation of millions of illegal aliens.

Thank you for posting this. I forgot about the bizarre Alton Sterling reference. Another calculated move by Cruz to harm the GOP candidate, he says he is for “law and order.”

He pulled a Hellery there talking out of both cavities though he perfected that himself in the Senate.

It really does not matter here. If he did endorse trump, some people here would still call him a lying ted. So well, there us no net change. Trump does not need ted to win.

Cruz has committed political suicide...if Trump wins...big IF!
To: Sean_Anthony
This morning Bret Baier played a clip of Cruz at one of the debates saying that he would support whomever the party nominates.
This morning, that clip makes Cruz the untrustworthy one.

Ted wore religion but his campaign showed it was all a façade and now is crumbled to the ground.

Cruz has committed political suicide...if Trump wins...big IF!Even if Trump loses big.
Precedent is Goldwater in 1964. The GOPe'ers Scranton and Rockefeller, who abandoned Goldwater, thereby killed their chances to ever get a GOP presidential nomination.
While Nixon and Reagan, who stuck by Goldwater, went on to the presidency.
