Boston police are being warned to check their cars before driving off after a cop's vehicle was tampered with.

The officer, whose name is not being released, was driving away from the police department's District 1 station, in central Boston, yesterday when his rear wheel came off.

He was not injured in the incident but when the cop took the car to the shop for repairs, a mechanic found the car had been tampered with. Someone had loosened or removed the lug nuts holding the wheel in place before he drove away....

Next time BLM blocks the road all the cops need to do is take away there cameras and walk away. The public will take care of the issue.

At first read I missed the info the it was a POV. Still I have never seen an LEO Station parking lot that was not covered by cameras. The loosening of lug nuts could have happened in the LEO’s driveway that early AM prior to start of shift.

They should have a couple of BIG, mean German Shepherds in their cars. NO ONE will GO NEAR their vehicle. The dogs will DEVOUR them.

Our P.D. has them occasionally....boy those dogs go NUTS if ANYone gets within ten feet of the police vehicle.

Then you need to first look at the tire shop who last serviced the tires.
