Beg to differ. Most of us will do just fine with no cops. Ferals acting out in public may soon be begging for cops to come save them.

The politicians will not speak out as they are ‘wet their pants’ afraid of what the MSM will say about them and feel they may not get that coveted invitation to the ‘weekend at Bernies’ Chablis and Brie munch. Traitorous unprincipled COWARDS!!

...or our guns.
We are under attack from international terrorism, this is not the time to disarm the American people.
Anyone who advocate more gun control are siding with our enemies.

“Obama, who noted he’s been receiving regular updates on the Dallas shootings, said he’d conveyed condolences to the city’s mayor, Mike Rawlings, and indicated the FBI was involved in investigating the shootings, which left 5 police officers dead.”——FROM CNN——

Whew, the FBI is right on it——that makes me feel MUCH better./s

I agree we need cops. We also need a fair justice system and to get back to the rule of law.

I poo-pooed BLM complaints until this week. Then Comey came out and said justice is intentionally applied unevenly for the elite. It makes me reconsider justice at all levels. If justice is ignored so much at Comey’s level, I can certainly see it being unfair at the level of law enforcement and local prosecutors - by a small minority but no more accidental than Comey’s intentional disregard for laws.

BLM complaints are very different from mine. The tactics used by BLM leaders are wrong and often criminal IMO (eg inciting Dallas). I don’t know if most BLM followers agree with the tactics or just have nowhere else to look for justice.

It would be nice if those in BLM who honestly want equal justice FOR ALL and don’t like BLM but have nowhere else could work with cops and with those of us who see the inequalities at the top. Maybe that’s 1% of BLM. Or 5%. Or higher. If we don’t get back to the rule of law at all levels we won’t have a country - at least not one anyone except the elite want to live in.

The progression to this point was inevitable. The slow acceptance of the doctrine of political correctness is at it’s origin. Under the guise of “inclusion”fairness” and “diversity”, we began to accept the organization of races into discrete camps. There should be no Black Congressional Caucus, no Black Student Union, no Hispanic House, no White Channel, no hate crimes.

Law Enforcement Facts

Key Data about the Profession

There are more than 900,000 sworn law enforcement officers now serving in the United States, which is the highest figure ever. About 12 percent of those are female.

According to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports, an estimated 1,165,383 violent crimes occurred nationwide in 2014, a decrease of 0.2 percent from the 2013 estimate.

Crime fighting has taken its toll. Since the first recorded police death in 1791, there have been over 20,000 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Currently, there are 20,789 names engraved on the walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

A total of 1,439 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty during the past 10 years, an average of one death every 61 hours or 144 per year. There were 123 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty in 2015.

There have been 15,725 assaults against law enforcement officers in 2014, resulting in 13,824 injuries.

The 1920s were the deadliest decade in law enforcement history, when a total of 2,437 officers died, or an average of almost 243 each year. The deadliest year in law enforcement history was 1930, when 304 officers were killed. That figure dropped dramatically in the 1990s, to an average of 162 per year.

The deadliest day in law enforcement history was September 11, 2001, when 72 officers were killed while responding to the terrorist attacks on America.

New York City has lost more officers in the line of duty than any other department, with 705 deaths. Texas has lost 1,682 officers, more than any other state. The state with the fewest deaths is Vermont, with 23.

There are 1,102 federal officers listed on the Memorial, as well as 668 correctional officers and 36 military law enforcement officers.

There are 292 female officers listed on the Memorial; eleven female officers were killed in 2015.

During the past ten years, more incidents that resulted in felonious fatalities occurred on Friday than any other day of the week. The fewest number of felonious incidents occurred on Tuesday.

I feel so sorry for the families of these poor officers who died defending the BLM scum.

Obama has more blood on his hands and I fear more before he leaves office.

Sorry, what kind of ‘cops’?

The ‘peace officer’ or the ‘law enforcement, SWAT\soldier wanna-be’??

Unfort., I haven’t seen a lot of ‘protecting’ the Citizens/our Rights in many a year; let alone keeping the peace...but have seen a lot of no-knock\’asset forfeiture’\’respect my authority’\etc.

We need to be honest about the problems with minorities and police.

1. There are parts of cities where civilization has been degraded on ALL sides.
2. The residents, usually minorities, disrespect laws, civility, common decency, and kindness.
3. The police resent this and react in kind, lowering their standards of civility to the residents, innocent or guilty.

This is our problem. It’s a problem of lowering human behavior away from the Good And Polite To that of animals.

It should not matter WHY you chose to disrespect common decency. RETURN TO IT. Treat everyone well, even “the public.”

There are people all over who respect traffic laws, litter laws, who hold doors open for strangers, who say “Excuse me,” who smile at strangers. IT MAKES FOR A BETTER WORLD.

We need a leader in the White House who encourages CARING over COOL. Cool means you don’t care. You can’t be cooler than shooting cops off a rooftop. Cool doesn’t have anything to do with good over evil. It’s just a state of not caring.

Wrong. Lower the threshold for citizens to protect and defend themselves and other without undue prosecution.

The ferals will beg for police to protect the hood..........
