Rhetorical stuff, not directed in a negative manner toward ya’ll:

With its corruption of our military and Dept of Justice, the Left completed their soiling of the last two noble institutions of our once republic. If an uncorrupted institution remains, I’d like to know of it.

So, what are we to do? Pray for a savior President? How can the problems caused by the accumulation of powers in fewer and fewer hands be solved that way?

If our very freedom depends on the outcome of one election, how can we continue to pretend we are still free?

I was thinking about this on my commute to work this morning.

I was remembering all of the military command officers who were dismissed by Obama for trumped up "loss of confidence" excuses, such as drinking, gambling, or swearing in front of women. These dismissals were meant to disrupt the military chain of command and insert social engineers in the place of seasoned proven combat veterans.

One early action a President Trump could do is review these dismissals and offer to reinstate any senior officers who wish to return to active command duty. If we are going to rebuild our military as Trump says he wants to do, he can't afford to wait for new leaders to emerge and ascend the command hierarchy; he will have to jump-start this by returning proven leaders back to their posts to aid in revitalizing their departments.

Good list.

We also failed to complete the impeachment of WJClinton in the senate

True, but the people overcame that by refusing to put Al Gore in the White House.

How do the people overcome an administration that refuses to carry out its constitutional duties once it acquires its constitutional offices?

How do the people hold accountable constitutional officeholders who only recognize the parts of the Constitution that authorize their offices and ignore the parts that limit their offices?

How do the people hold accountable constitutional officeholders who hold the people to a higher standard of law than they hold to themselves?

More for the list:

When we failed to prosecute the use of taxing authorities to punish political opponents who are a threat to incumbent power?

When we failed to prosecute the transfer of wealth from taxpayers to lawmakers who gain from the laws that they pass?

When we failed to prosecute the abuse of regulatory power that targeted thriving industries for destruction?

Yes, perhaps some would be willing to return to active duty.

My fear is that the military culture from O-1 and E-1 upwards has been uprooted. Have all junior officers been raised like Lt. Nitker (sp) who gave up his boats to the effing Iranians?

Political Junkie Too’s list of lapses by our leaders and citizenry:
~ ~ ~ ~ ~

As opposed to authoritarian regimes in which the moment of their deaths is known exactly by the date and time their despots pass on into hell, what of republics? When do republics die?

When we failed to prosecute New Black Panther voter intimidation in Philadelphia?

When we failed to prosecute gun running to drug cartels in Mexico?

When we failed to prosecute the mistreatment of our sick military veterans?

When we failed to prosecute the loss of top State secrets?

How do the people overcome an administration that refuses to carry out its constitutional duties once it acquires its constitutional offices?

How do the people hold accountable constitutional officeholders who only recognize the parts of the Constitution that authorize their offices and ignore the parts that limit their offices?

How do the people hold accountable constitutional officeholders who hold the people to a higher standard of law than they hold to themselves?

PJ2, I am glad you are enumerating these grave lapses for which our people are accountable. These all need to be known and discussed by all who love America - even if they only love her a little bit. I have not at all given up on America, but we are certainly in perilous times.

It occurs to me that this list is, above all, useful for those who take their places among the Prayer Warriors before the altar.

You have listed the very infractions for which me must petition our Just God to forgive us for our dalliances, inattention to our citizen responsibilities, and to strengthen us to a renewal of fervor for His freedom and justice.

Heavenly Father,

We as a people have gone out of the way. We have allowed the distractions of our day to day activities, the entertainments offered by the mass culture, and a misplacing of our priorities get in the way of cherishing the gift of freedom you and the blood of countless patriots has afforded us.

We place before you the list that our fellow FReeper has written, with the purpose of confessing to you that we do have accountability. We have sinned - often by omission - by not performing our duties of being the Watchmen on the Wall.

Father, we know from the Bible that you are ready to forgive your people when they repent. Father we repent now, for ourselves, and on behalf of our people, and we repent specifically for the various ways we have not given our all, when too many have given their very lives for our own opportunity. We have all taken your and their gifts too much for granted.

Father, we do repent, and we call forth the saving blood of our Lord Jesus, to cleanse us of those infractions and offenses. Father, renew in us the Vision we must have in order to save the nation which you endowed us through our Founders. For we can truly see that all too many of our people have lost that Vision and we are indeed perishing as a people.

We request a mighty roaring action of your Holy Spirit to touch each soul in this nation who can be once more returned to your fold. We call forth a mighty revival and Great Awakening.

Father, let each of us individually be able to approach your throne and hear your compassionate Word resound in our hearts. Help us to hear the direction you have for us, each one. Help us learn to work in concert with each other in a mighty community of the Holy Spirit.

In His name, we reclaim this nation as Holy Ground, and we surrender the rags of the lesser for the Robes which you have prepared for us. Help us move forward this day in the determination to make our minutes count. To make our lives count as our beloved Founders, warriors, law enforcement, and sacrificial mothers have always made their efforts count for the furtherance of your Glory.

Father, we thank you for hearing our cry. We praise you, for you are worthy to be praised.

Father, God bless America. In the Name of our Lord we pray.
Amen

Have all junior officers been raised like Lt. Nitker (sp) who gave up his boats to the effing Iranians?

I read the other day that it was the commanding officer who ordered the surrender to protect Obama's negotiations with Iran.

Naval commander surrendered to Iran to protect nuclear deal

The commander in charge of the naval vessels that strayed into Iranian waters and were captured last January surrendered his command because he thought his sailors would be safe because Iran "wanted the nuclear deal to go through."

So I'm sticking with my idea that it's Obama sycophants and not snowflake junior officers who are at fault.
