In the powerful digital world, Kill the Messenger has been simplified to Kill the Message.
Everybody, including Americas most dangerous enemies got emails from Hillary Clintons unsecured, bathroom email server, but if yours are being serviced by Gmail, no ones getting them and havent for some time.
Google, Gmails owner, has been directing your emails to Spam and Promotions Tabs. In other words, everywhere but where you intended them to be.
Worth repeating: Since at least May of 2016 Google which controls the Gmail email flow has been deliberately directing email messages into your spam tab or one of its other tabs that effectively block your messages from getting through to their intended destination.
I don’t use gmail like I used to, so just checked it.
All the messages in the Spam folder were spam. Nothing in it was legit.
Works like always.
I have my own domain, which forwards to the email address of my choice. So, I set up a parallel test for a while: iCloud and Gmail at the same time.
iCloud does much better. I only have 2-3 misclassified messages per week, vs. 2-3 every DAY on Gmail.
My ISP has its email service built onto the Yahoo platform. Much spam gets into the inbox. A few legit ones get directed to spam. Gotten worse the past few months.
Same here. The tabs do a great job filtering my mail and the few messages I actually would like to see land neatly into my inbox. I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with a legitimate email being tagged as spam. And I do check.
Ya get what you pay for. I don’t know why anyone would expect anything different. However, I usually only get spam in my spam folder. Occasionally I’ll get a keeper in there.
The USPS finally has some competition.
I have had a gmail account for specific things. I should be receiving 4 or 5 messages that I want to receive per week. I have had nothing new in my inbox for a month. There is no Spam or Promotions folder to check. I have a Report Spam tab but there is nothing there. I am notifying my correspondents on gmail that I have a new mail service and it is not gmail.
gmail is only one of the promised “bumps in da road” the last few years.....someone mentioned usps...my wife and i are now addicted to amazon.com/prime and we really appreciarted buying stuff online and having UPS deliver to our door!
And then—for som ungodly reason amazon entered into an agreement bringing usps into the delivery of amazon orders...end of the good news—wtf a great outfit like amazon would get involved w/the #1 fuppup outfit in creation is beyond belief...hopefully they will come to their senses somewhere down the lin—SOON!!!!!
Just as bad is when obvious spam goes into the inbox. I even flag it as spam and the same sender/type of items come back. And I use gmail.
Just checked. Everything in my Gmail spam folder should have been there.
I would guess this is someone’s sour grapes about finding out the spam they are sending is being treated appropriately.
Look between “All Mail” and “Trash” on the left sidebar.
