A Georgetown law professor has filed disbarment charges against Marilyn Mosby for her corrupt prosecution of six Baltimore cops in the death of career criminal, Freddie Gray.
There have now been 3 trials and Mosby hasnt come close to winning one yet and has even been excoriated for withholding exculpatory evidence.
The list of charges against Mosby are as follows:
- that she did not have probably cause to believe that there was sufficient admissible evidence to support a conviction of the officers;
- that she made public statements regarding the case which were false;
- that she improperly withheld evidence from the defense that was exculpatory;
- that she continued to prosecute cases after the judge assigned to hear the cases found insufficient evidence to support a conviction;
- that she engaged in conduct that was dishonest, fraudulent, deceitful and which misrepresented the facts in the case.
The complaint filed with the Maryland Bar Counsel calls Mosby a runaway prosecutor and alleges she violated ethics rules, claiming she never had probable cause to charge six officers in the death of Freddie Gray.
I think Marilyn Mosby has harmed the city of Baltimore. And if she continues, that harm will get worse, said law professor John Banzhaf, George Washington University. Banzhaf, who filed the complaint, accuses Mosby of only filing charges to stop the unrest in Baltimore.
I heard your call for No justice, no peace. Your peace is sincerely needed as I work to deliver justice on behalf of this young man, Mosby said in May of 2015. Banzhafs complaint calls Mosbys words a misuse of her role and a perversion of her office.
Good she not only needs to be disbarred, she needs to stand trial for prosecutorial misconduct.
She will be Mayor, mark my words.
[that she did not have probably cause]
Personally I like the use of the word Prolly.
I think auto correct has caused more damage.
Spell Czech is knot yore friend!
“She will be Mayor, mark my words.”
I agree!
He was a real POS wasn't he? I heard all his cases were being reviewed, even a murder conviction. I don't think the whole thing is over, even now.
Yes, or working at a college for a salary of $300,000+ a year.
Absolutely, positively, 100% true. She will be the mayor first, followed by congress and the senate, then maybe a run at POTUS, all the while flaunting victim status. She has a long and storied career ahead of her. There is no limit to how far she can go.
After all, there are MANY criminals already in public office. What is to stop her from becoming another one?
yes, But. She like our magic negro is a clean, articulate well spoken negro.
In Mosby’s defense, she is a democrat. That mitigates any abuse of power or corruption.
Cathy Pugh is the next mayor. She already won the primary and is running
unopposed. As far as Mosby - an idiot to be sure. However, if Mosby’s
predecessor was still in office ( white, male, Jewish) and properly declined
to indict the police officers for Gray’s death, it would have been much worse from a civil unrest point of view.
Black prosecutor, black judge. Not guilty. Mosby trashed.
Works for me.
Played like a fool. She is a fool. I hope she loses everything.
I have no doubt.
My daughter is going to college hoping t become an editor. She chose not to attend one college because of a typo on their website in the editing and proof-reading section.
They should let officer Goodson drive the prison bus.
The list of charges against Mosby are as follows: Bunch of stupid Honky rules...
Didn't work real well for the defendants. Didn't work real well for our system of justice.
The Pennsylvania A-G, Kathleen Kane, was disbarred and she still sits in the AG’s office. 1 guess as to which party she belongs? I wonder if Maryland Law permits a non-member of the State Bar to serve? Because you know a cancer like this will not voluntarily give up a large public paycheck.
