Poor George Will should question his intelligence as a commentator if he can't even understand that is neo-conservatives like him that brought the GOP to this state. He has constantly pandered to Democrats. He is a moderate, not a libertarian, either. I've read countless op-eds from him. He is a joke.
He's just sad nobody pays attention to him anymore. Trump is leading the party forward, and there will be consequences for anyone who does not fall in line!
He can start a new party called the "Globalists," there are a bunch of "former Republicans" that can join him.

Conservative columnist George Will has left the Republican Party.These are the same guys who told us that we were just throwing away our vote if we did that. Another example that politicians and the media believe that the rules they make for us don't apply to them. Hypocrites the lot of them.The longtime commentator reportedly made the announcement during a Federalist Society event in Washington, D.C., on Friday.
Will, who resides in Maryland, said he changed his affiliation this month from Republican to unaffiliated.
A report from PJ Media quoted Will as saying: “This is not my party.”
He also said that it’s too late for the Republican Party to nominate someone who isn’t Donald Trump, an idea that those in the Never Trump movement have been holding on to as the convention nears.
“Make sure he loses,” he said. “Grit their teeth for four years and win the White House.”
Trump attacked the Washington Post columnist as a “major loser” last month, criticizing a column Will wrote, headlined “If Trump is nominated, the GOP must keep him out of the White House.”
Well, I look forward not to see Will at the Republican National Convention then. Hooray for me!

The only reason why my heart doesn’t bleed that George Will is leaving the GOP is because he’s never been a part of it.
He continues to go on news shows and berate the GOP like he’s never a part of so let him slither out on his stomach...really doesn’t matter much.
Trump will win the WH and that’s all I have to say about that!
It’s going to get embarassing for these news networks when all their token republicans quit the GOP and it’s clear that (1) there are no republicans left on their networks and (2) it’s obvious they were no different than their army of dems all along.
He and bill Krystal threw a dinner party for Obama not too long ago. It’s obvious where he gets his marching orders.
He will still keep going to the country club.
We are better off without him.
His article today supports Brexit, so he’s not a Cameron-style Tory.
I actually think Will would be open to many aspects of Trumpism, provided only that he didn’t have to take the actual Donald Trump as well. He would probably support limiting our intervention in the Middle East, cracking down on illegal immigration, and looking more carefully at trade deals.
I would rather the uniparty rinos leave and either join their true party the “emo”crats, and purge te party of them, than me leaving.

I guess it doesn’t bother him that Hillary Clinton’s judicial appointees will wreck the country. It will matter not if a Republican is elected 4 years from now.

Senile @hole. Same DB who attacked Ronald Reagan in 76 & 80, until it was clear Reagan would be the nominee and won the WH. Only then did Bow Tie Boy kinda/sorta got on board. Wanted to keep getting invited to all the right Washington cocktail parties & dinners, same as today.
Oh I’m sure he will find someone to pay him to sabotage the Trump administration. And he’ll take caustic pride in disparaging everything that he used to extoll.
