He is right. Trump beats Hillary among independents but has weak support among republicans. After he picks a traditional republican as VP and the election date gets near all the republicans should come around.

It stands to reason that if there are 1000 of these bas*ards in this country, it only will take a handful to do something like this.
Huh? Trump has less support among republican voters than independents? That makes no sense.
My fear is that they will entice/coerce him to pick a traitor like Bush 41 - to undo all that he does once he leaves office.
On the other hand, he is less politician and more businessman than Reagan; perhaps he will not fall for that.
