I figure Poland will need to score 4 or 5 to win the group, but Northern Ireland has looked much better than people expected, so you never know.
Overall the British Isles have done well. Poor Scotland, bet they’re feeling a bit left out.

” Six Russian nationals were arrested, authorities said, “on their way to the airport to fly back to Moscow this evening.”
A seventh suspect, thought to be around 30 years old, evaded officers. A police spokesman said that the Cologne Airport had been informed that the seven men had tickets for a flight scheduled to leave for Moscow shortly before 9 p.m. local time (1900 GMT/UTC).
According to the city’s “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger” news organization, the assailants were wearing gloves and balaclavas.
The attack occurred in the early evening as the seven met set upon a group of tourists, reportedly from Spain, breaking the nose of one man and severely injuring two others.”

The Euro in comparison is tame per fouls, bad tempers. Rather gentlemanly. Not much diving either, that’s really a world cup phenomenon and it was real bad at the ‘94 USA World Cup.

Brazil were eliminated in this tournament per a hand ball and that is reported in the stories widely, not what some fan says happened. Peru beat them.
Ecuador pulled one back 2-1, Valencia, #13 had two chances to sink a header; real good game now.

One day we’re going to win without me pulling my hair out the entire second half.
