A week ago, I heard she and McCain each were at 41 percent (there are several others in the race). I wouldn’t doubt if she pulls ahead soon.
Three weeks ago...McCain was polling 39 percent to Ward’s 26 percent, and the rest undecided. Roughly 35-percent of the state republicans have not made up their mind. McCain will likely get big cash by July to pump up TV advertising. Unless something big happens, I don’t see how Ward will win. But to be honest, I don’t think McCain will be there more than two more years before he retires and the governor appoints someone to the job.
