Before you let Socialist dictators dictate your life, consider what you’re giving up and what they’re taking away
Thanks to Bernie and Hillary, Socialism is on everyone’s mind. These politicians, like so many in our media and universities, claim it’s a glorious idea.
Usually thought of as an economic philosophy, Socialism is more sweeping than that. It dictates how all of society must be organized. It claims to be fairer; it claims to deliver happiness. Socialism is a philosophy of life that, I’ll argue, steals the life right out of you.
The central vision, indeed the central requirement, is that everyone be equal and cooperative. Competition is evil. Striving for success is scorned. In order to obtain the promised benefits, you agree to be a cog in the machine.

The whole point of socialism is to define justice in materialistic terms, with a government guarantee that no one will be permitted to have more stuff than you do. Socialism appeals to life’s losers, and karma guarantees that they end up even worse off under a socialist than they would flipping burgers at a profitable McDonald’s.
Socialism is a materialistic focus on greed and envy.

The great “promise” of socialism is you become essentially human livestock... to be herded, corralled, given little more than basic rations (food, housing, medicine) like the cows in the field... and like them to be even culled if it is in the “wisdom” of your “owners”, the sacred, “compassionate” state.
Socialism is the biggest crime imaginable - take everything.
...and enslave everyone.
Socialism fails the first wellformedness criterion for deciding whether or not a goal is worth pursuing. If a goal is not possible to achieve then it is not worth pursuing. Utopia is impossible to achieve in this world, so socialism is not worth pursuing.
Over 100 million people who have been killed and billions of lives wrecked say NO to socialism.
The difference between a socialist and a communist is that communists are in a hurray.
