They are utterly dishonest. This gets far beyond simple bias, and is now well into state linked propaganda. I suppose it fools some, but I don’t know why.
They always pick a sympathetic “victim”. When AIDS was the big thing to preach about, they would invariably show the rarest of cases—a white kid with aids. NEVER the scummy bathhouse drag queens and such where the real problem was. Now it’s muslim scouts, not muslim attackers in San Bernardino.
One way to get people to see the truth is to rid them the notion that the Times or WaPo or any of them is really an “entity” with clout. It is a collection of friggin’ crazed leftists, indistinguishable in some cases from the rabble outside the Trump rallies.
It REALLY helps to have a picture to go with the byline. Two minutes on google gets a pic and a little bio of sorts. Like the guy who wrote the WaPo story about Trump and the ladies—quick google showed the typical slack-jawed liberal face, and a little more hunting turns up all the negative “Tweets” he had put up over the months—incredibly unprofessional stuff ragging on Trump’s hair, etc.
I wish people who believe this stuff would at least take those steps.
NYT had a two-page spread in the middle of section A today that sickeningly pretends to be a news analysis but is a bash-Trump fest that must have had them all giddy with their own cleverness. I wonder if it’s good for me to be in close proximity to such diabolical trickery.
