No matter what, by today's standards, the past giants who built our nation may have thought and done "wrong", they are still honored and cherished for the issuance from their labors the greatest nation to have ever existed.

We would be truly blessed to have again a Calhoun, Jefferson, Webster, Robert E. Lee or Andrew Jackson....just to name a very, very few. All contributed to my being here in a virtual paradise on Earth.

Great men can be flawed at the same time.
Where are the great men of Africa who set up systems of government and industry that brought peace and prosperity to vast numbers of people? Same in the Middle East?
