Iranian lawmakers are moving closer to approving a lawsuit against the United States to seek compensation for damage inflicted by Washington’s “hostile moves over the past 63 years”.

On Wednesday, 181 of the 290 Iranian lawmakers voted in favor of a bill that would pave the way for the government to take legal action against the U.S. in an international court for actins dating back to the 1953 coup in Iran.

The move comes just a few weeks after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that nearly $2 billion of Iran’s frozen assets be given to American families of the victims of a 1983 bombing in Beirut and other attacks.

How fast and for how much can Obama settle? This could be another last minute surprise during his rush to destroy the US before he leaves office. Could he negotiate a binding settlement in something like the World Court with the connivance of the DOJ and the UN?

Iran threatens to sue.

Obama threatens (or telegraphs) pre-emptive admission of guilt and further payments.

Premature adjudication. /S

Unfortunately, our national “leaders” think that a sovereign USA is something that should be a thing of the past.

and Fortunately, WE have found somebody who believes in our sovereignty. Now we must elect him and help him undo as much of the wrong done to America as is possible. Go Trump!

Methinks if the Persians want to sue us, we should give them a good reason. Like nuking Nantaz, or Bashir. I’m not particularly for one over the other.

Maybe Qom too...?

We need another Leonidas fighting for the U.S. this time. He knew what to do to the Persians!

Not without the approval of the Senate for any kind of pact or treaty and not without the House for the dispersal of funds as the House holds the purse strings. At least that is the way I see it. The Hague has no jurisdiction over the U.S. thanks to Bush. My opinion.

Hi.

“Basher is just as bad as his daddy, Hafiz...both aholes of the lowest order.”

I agree with you, although “Bashir,” is a city in Iran, Basher Assad needs to go too.

==================================

"Bashir" is pronounced "Bahsheer," and "Basher" is prounounced as it is written. I took Arabic, spoken, in Saudi Arabia and written/reading here at home in our BEST country in the world, USA. I always did like learning languages.

I have forgotten all but a few words of Arabic.
Every American woman DID get her name written in Arabic in an 18- or 22-karat gold necklace. I still have mine.
I also got one that says "habibi," which means "my darling."

Most Arabs were illiterate and recited their Koran. They STILL do their "call to prayer" vocally since the Arab peninsula had no IRON for bells to call people to prayer.
SO they called people to prayer at the five times a day. NOW they use a microphone for their "call."

For us Christians that meant: Time to go home or have a cup of tea at a neighbor's home (no public restaurants for women) as all the stores would close for 1/2 hour.
It was more annoying than anything else.

Anything “sent” to these middle eastern degererates should be attached to nuclear bombs dropped from the sky.
