I like all dogs, but German Shephards are great dogs. I used to have one a long time ago, still remember him fondly.

Said to be the smartest breed, with the intelligence of a 10 year old human. Unfortunately, not very long lived.

I’ve had several. My buddy now is a Malinois, the best dog I’ve ever had. Extremely loving, even with kids, protective to the last breath. In other words, great companion, bites like an alligator when instructed to.
