Saudi construction giant Binladin group has laid off tens of thousands of workers, leading to rare protests, as workers torch seven buses demanding compensation as low oil prices begin to bite in earnest.
The numbers of layoffs range from 50,000 to 77,000, many of who say they were not paid for several months.

I'm surprised they didn't deny they ever had any workers.
I would have expected them to say they never hired anyone, and all work was accomplished by the will of Allah alone.
all those Indonesians, Singaporese and Filipinos are going to carry sharia back home.
Don’t make fun of the unemployed until you know its devastating effect on the victims. Houston is very hard hit and if you played that violin publicly in a job fair, you would not come out alive.

“Saudis . . . doing the jobs Yemini’s won’t do for themselves” I guess.
Gotta be foreigners.

I remember after the collapse in 2007/2008 there were pictures of abandoned cars at some airport in Saudi Arabia; a lot of the Indians that had been laid off walked away from their homes (and car payments) and flew home.
Over the last 50 years, the Saudi Royals have squeezed the world, sometimes hard for the oil under their sand. They have sponsored terror and grown fat on their profits. I hope the masses over thrown the country and plunder the royals till they are penny-less.
I’m forecasting a bear market in towel heads.
Their new best customer is China.
Those friendly folks with mafia business practices and 1.4 billion expendable people to enforce them.
Thank God for fracking on US soil.
—What do Saudis do, anyway?—I have only witnessed what I see here, and I see their young sons drive around in new Mustangs and lifted American pickups.
OH, you mean for work...
