When all you have experienced is crony capitalism you would hat capitalism.

I would hope we can establish capitalism in the U.S., but it will require radical reform of our principal institutions.

Every economic system is some form of Capitalism, it’s a question of who controls the Capital.

What we advocate is Free Enterprise.

I don’t think what we’ve had since these folks have been around has been capitalism. In fact, I don’t think they have ever seen capitalism. Just oligarchy claiming to be capitalism, while undermining it at every turn.

Ok, oligarchy is a governing system whereas capitalism is an economic system. Possibly the variety of mixed economic system we have had has been such a corruption of capitalism as to render it unrecognizable.

Free capitalism is just fine.

Corporatism is not, crony capitalism isn’t. Monopolies are not. Fascism, socialism, commumism, all these things suck and are proven over and over again they do not work.

The nature of man does not like free capitalism and seeks to control it and tries to make it into one of the above lesser forms.

They don’t like Capitalism, but where did their iPhone come form and their video games? Were they provided by the state? The ones who hate capitalism are the ones who are living off it. We live in the land if Bizzaro!

Bingo. When the only form of capitalism you've ever known is crony capitalism it's hard to believe it's anything other than a rigged game. Of course their solution is the heart of the problem.

The entire problem is a too powerful government. When government doesn't have power to interfere with Business B then Business A can't (or wont bother) to buy them off. It's only when government can interfere with all aspects of our lives that it becomes in the interest of businesses to influence the government to prop them up while screwing the other guy.

The business of America is business! It has kept us going since 1776, and we have the longest running government in the world at present, and they don’t like our system? What the hell are they doing here, they have to go to North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela Zimbabwe and be happy.

Couple this with tens of millions of jobs taken by robots and/or software, and you have a recipe for social unrest that could make Venezuela look like a picnic. This nation is NOT prepared for it. The only solution I see is secession of one part of America (Galt’s Gultch?) or leaving America (but for where?)

When we were kids here in Oregon during the summer from about the age of 8 yrs on, we worked all summer either picking berries or doing farm work. Most of the young folks now don’t work.....never have. Everything has been handed to them either by their parents or the school system/welfare department. Even the ones on welfare don’t have to walk to school like we did and they have free breakfast and lunch ALL YEAR LONG. Their parents hardly support them at all anymore. No sense of responsibility, no work and leaching off the system has created the rioters of today. They are non-motivated parasites who are afraid of losing their free ride. They all need to be forced to support themselves and have money taken out in taxes before they will ever understand that life can no longer be a free ride.
There’s no more blood left for the leaches.

The half that has no idea what is socialism and what is not.

If they mean to dislike Romney and Heidi Cruz capitalism, I can sort of get it.

"More Than Half Of All U.S. Adults Under Age 30 Now Reject Capitalism"

That must be the more affluent half, whose parents and grandparents receive their incomes from socialism...NIMBYs.

Who can afford to be influential in politics?

Answer that question, and you’ll begin to see through the propaganda.

“More than half of all US Residents under 30 ARE NOT ADULTS!”

The same probably applies to a significant number who are over 30. And the same also applies in South Africa where I was born, and still live.

A shocking new report reveals more than half of US adults under the age of 30 don't speak nor understand English

IF they work, where do they think their paycheck comes from ?

If they DON'T work and receive life sustaining elements ... money, food (stamps) housing (etc.) ... where do they think THAT money comes from ?

If every capitalist decided to stop working, every one of these ingrates would starve to death or cry themselves to sleep every night because they were forced to actually earn their keep.

“More Than Half Of All U.S. Adults Under Age 30 Now Reject Capitalism”

The headline, by itself, is a scathing indictment of four generations of FedGov meddling in the education of our youth.

Never thought I would be witness to the death of this grand experiment. I am not at certain we can save this nation...

< The millennials have never experienced capitalism. They have lived under corporatism which has given them crushing college debt, jobs in the service industry, and a bed in the parent’s basement. They have told that capitalism caused their situation.

Ask any of the them what capitalism is and they can't truly tell you what it is; only that they know it's bad (because the Soro's Open Source Society told them so). I've had this discussion with a few of them and I ask them "how can you hate something you can't even define?" usually ends the discussion.

Here's the definition that the left will only understand:

An economic system based on private ownership of the means of production, in which personal bling can be acquired through investment of capital and employment of peeps. Capitalism is grounded in the concept of fo' real enterprise, which argues that the man's intervention in the economy should be restricted and that a free market, based on supply and demand, will ultimately maximize consumer dough.

Just explain it like this and they will get it - a person selling weed in Denver is capitalism. The government telling others that they can't and only they can sell weed is socialism.

They will understand' this 'fo 'real.

I don’t think they really know what capitalism is.

They have been schooled that cronyism goes hand and hand with capitalism, therefore capitalism must be bad.
