The main reason there is such a large difference between Trump's claimed net worth ($10 billion) and independent estimates of it (<$4 billion) is that Trump includes over $3 billion as the value of his "Trump Brand".
With such a large value for the Trump Brand, Trump must, of course, charge for his "brand". A 50% rate is hardly unusual!
